look at the past 20+ years of elections: the dem candidates that postured more progressively were successful at the ballot box, & the ones that tacked to the center were not (& lost to Trump). the public wants populist, progressive policy, & pushing for that in the primary is how we win.

Since this discourse is starting again I want to say that the idea that platner is a nazi is predicated on him acting like no other Nazi has ever acted
I feel like we should stay focused on the question at hand: does someone who gets a Nazi tattoo and keeps it for 15 years have the discernment to represent the left in the senate and not get distracted by the question of is he actually a Nazi which is largely irrelevant
