If there are certain legislators standing in the way of passage, make them say that with their chest by voting no!

i watched this a few weeks ago and it hasn’t left my head. it made me sick to my stomach in the best possible way and i’m 50-50 on whether i want to rewatch it a million times or never ever watch it again
I finally saw I Saw the TV Glow and I can’t stop thinking about it - the way Jane Schoenbrun creates a tightly contained space around Owen that always feels separate, artificial; the insanely spot on 90s production values of the Pink Opaque, the way Justice Smith wears loneliness and quiet despair

sometimes i feel like it would be fun to try stand up comedy, out of sheer curiosity about what the experience would be like. but i would have to go somewhere far away because if someone i actually know were to witness me attempting stand up comedy i would have to enter witness protection.
