This hasn't gotten enough attention

Judge Boasberg in 4/18 Alien Enemies Act hearing:

“I strongly doubt that the notice [to detainees], particularly with a short time frame, complies with the Supreme Court instruction, where it doesn’t give anything about the right to challenge or seek a hearing."
Supreme Court blocks Alien Enemies Act deportation of Venezuelan men
The Trump administration was planning to deport at least 30 Venezuelan men under a rarely invoked wartime statute before the court ruled to temporarily halt it.

So the administration ADMITS it mistakenly arrested and sent a father to El Salvador, but then can’t right the wrong because, well, he’s in El Salvador?

Is this right?

This is both a constitutional crisis and, imminently, an economic crisis. Every single elected Democrat at every level should be pointing out how their constituents will be fucked by this.
Everything is extremely chaotic but the best info we have so far suggests that Trump’s “stop funding” EO would cover:

Medicaid
ESSA funds
IDEA
Snap
School meals
WIC
Head start grants
Child care block grants
Pell grants
Student loans
Higher Ed grants
Housing vouchers
CTE

Devastating beyond words.

This is a remarkable moment. Trump and Vance sit there in silence, as a bishop pleas with them to lean on their better angels and not follow through with their depraved campaign promises that target the LGBTQ+ community and immigrants.

Never seen anything like this.
Rev. Mariann Edgar Budde to Trump: "I ask you to have mercy upon the people in our country who are scared now. There are gay, lesbian, and transgender people in Democratic, Republican, and independent families, some who fear for their lives ... and the vast majority of immigrants are not criminals"

Tulsi Gabbard is singularly focused on promoting terror states and undermining the security of the United States. That makes her a perfect choice to serve as Trump's Director of National Intelligence, as I discussed here.

“The fact that there were four justices prepared to block the proceeding bodes ill for the high court’s willingness to act as a check on Trump once he returns to office.”

Why? Because there was absolutely no credible reason to stop yesterday’s sentencing.

He killed it, and as a result, pulitzer prize editorial cartoonist Ann Telnaes quit.

Make sure everyone sees this cartoon.

It appears Musk came to US on a student visa, did not attend school and worked illegally here.

If he lied in his subsequent immigration applications he committed a felony level crime and could be stripped of his citizenship and security clearances.

Musk's brother: "We were illegal immigrants."
What’s amazing about Musk claiming the reason he’s in America is the H1B visa is that it isn’t true. According to story below, he came here on a student visa, worked illegally and then got an H1B. He should release his immigration records to clear this up.

Should we continue to encourage kids to go to college ? Or push them to take up a trade ?

I believe in college. Learning how to learn, IMO, is a critical life skill. Being exposed to people of different backgrounds, makes yiu wiser

Qualifier- it should be a school you can afford.
