Laptop just needs to work reliably and run Microsoft Office and connect to her school's Google workspace stuff. Thank u!

After spending a decent number of days offline and coming back here for a brief moment, I gotta say...this place is a doom machine. I can feel the walls closing in on my own sense of self and place the longer I scroll through this shit. Y'all get offline and reconnect with yourself and community

Huntington Beach, CA - Members of Patriot Front, and several explicitly Neo-Nazi active clubs marching through Huntington Beach right now. Led by “Culture War Criminal” Ryan Sanchez, they are mostly being received warmly by a Charlie Mirk memorial demonstration at Huntington Beach Pier.

When the fascists are finally defeated, the amount of rebuilding that will need to be done is going to take an incredible amount of work. Don't trust any politician that is promising a return to the status quo. A system that allowed this to happen is a broken system. Full stop.

The hotel and airline bankrolled challenge to the Olympic wage *did not qualify* for the ballot according to the LA County Registrar.

This means the city’s Olympic wage ordinance , $25/hour beginning this year and $30/hour by 2028, goes into effect for tourism workers immediately

I mean what on earth are district court judges supposed to do at this point other than get the message from SCOTUS to let Trump do whatever he wants to no matter what the law says.
