I think interesting is a genre.
I've been working with the Linux Foundation on a next-gen standard for multi-agent/human interaction called Open Floor. We've just released V 1.0 and here is an explainer demo on how it works. ejtalk.com/Pages/ann2.h...

I wouldn't know how to write a "Hello World" program on an analog computer. I guess if it was "Hello Whirled" you could represent the angular momentum. BTW the computer I used had vacuum tubes.
What age were you when you first learned to code and wrote your first “Hello world” program?

First version of Fortran (yes I used it at my job) limited variable names to 6 characters, 1st must be a letter, letters were all caps. We wrote complex finite element and CAD programs like that.
Once upon a time a computer file name could only be 8 character long.

And people had to try to make programs and games work like that. Tons and tons of files, 8 character limit.

True. Fun not fraught.
Bluesky feels more like “old Twitter” than X does. That’s one reason why millions of people are switching to Bluesky. 🦋

Well this one has appeal.
I’m posting two identical photos, one on here and one on Twitter.

I’ve been on Twitter for 16 years, I’ve been on Bluesky for 25 days.

Which ones gonna get more likes and interactions?
