Nasra Ahmed, a 23-year-old US citizen, was arrested and detained by ICE. She was held for TWO DAYS.

ICE agents handcuffed her, called her a racial slur, and she was knocked to the ground so hard she got a concussion.

This cannot continue happening. ICE needs to leave.

I’m glad to see Bill say this. But when after a century of just the type of abuse we saw today - relentless and cruel, ensnaring our children and intimidating our communities - young Black people said in frustration, anger, and demand for change “defund the police” - so many of you denounced them.

Casual reminder that the myth of “pulling yourself up by your bootstraps” is a cruel hoax designed to convince poor people from all walks of life that the injustices they face are a result of their own actions, rather than an oppressive system rigged against them.

Fucking monsters. Thieves as well. Democrats doing the BARE MINIMUM to call this shit out rather than making this more well known will NOT help them. I hope we see candidates primarying the "bare minimum" fuckwits in congress and a ton of Republican cowards run out of office as well by progressives.

abolishing ICE is a necessity but *merely* abolishing ICE should be viewed as the most moderate of positions
