Honestly when do they run out? A big part of the reason the 1999 Seattle protests went like they did is the Seattle police ran out of tear gas. (Portland police brought them some more but it took a while.) There has to be an answer to this question though I don't know that we're likely to get it.

It is very comical that the day after Trump won Justine Bateman posted this very long thread bragging about how she was finally “free” to say what she feels about certain issues she was previously “silenced” about and yet still didn’t reveal what she supposedly wasn’t allowed to say. Still hasn’t!

I get that the term has a specific meaning and it’s being broadly misused as synonymous with “war” and “bad” but to me I could never push back with “technically it’s not genocide” because at the end of the day it could be accurately characterized as “close enough”

I think his outreach into right wing spaces on the issue can be effectively deradicalizing (particularly when he told that audience that parents of trans kids have personally told him that transitioning saved their kids life) more than I think what bluesky wants.
