Also, 4 Republicans voted nay (Cruz, Lee, Moran, and Paul) & 3 didn't vote (Daines, Hawley, & Moody). Meaning this bill absolutely could not have passed this stage without the support of the Democrats.

The other Cuomo-ish thing about Harrell is how none of his supporters can make a convincing case for him on the merits.

The Seattle Times endorsement doesn't say a single positive thing about him except that he might magically get better in a second term.

I'm not a "state ownership will solve everything" guy but it's not all that radical to have municipal or state bodies run businesses. If capitalistic enterprises are so much better at everything, then they shouldn't mind a lil government competition.

If you're only following this "debate" through popular media you probably have the impression that studies on youth gender medicine are roughly split between benefits and harms.

Nope! Nearly every study finds benefits. The "debate" is just a bunch of people going, "Those don't count."
