I feel the same way. Every time, I’m amazed at what’s possible with hypnosis. When I started, I was skeptical and cautious not to set my expectations too high. It’s been a wild ride ever since.
I'm regularly amazed at just what is possible. When I started, I was really wowed by the stories I read, but I knew that most of them were pure fiction. Now I'm more interested in finding ways to make all of those fictional ideas come true

By the way, when we talk about the payment processor hypnosis bans, we should probably stop repeating that it's about chargebacks. Maybe there was a kernel of truth to that 20 years ago, but that's not it now.
It's about politics, and policing/limiting what is acceptable human sexuality.

I really do think that having experience being hypnotized makes you a way better hypnotist.
It's not just knowing what hypnosis FEELS like. It's that you learn how it actually works on a person. You learn how to evoke it.

First thing I tell anyone getting into hypnokink is to develop and practice safeties *often*. Refresh yours and be able to pull out of suggestions you don't like. Train your unseen observer on that panic button and know you can pull out of trance if you must.
How confident are you that you could ignore a suggestion if you needed to? How hard would it be for you to wake up if someone knocked on the door while you were hypnotized?
This is your personal "agency" -- your ability to act for yourself. It can help keep you safe, & also improve your trance!
