I got four and five years from an iPhone 13 Pro, and iPad Pro (Gen 3) respectively.

Had the iPhone battery not died at 8pm during a biz trip to London (I was alone 😬) I’d have kept it for another year.

Like Boeing planes of old, Apple may find their older phones are now their biggest competition.
stupid young people, stop buying a new phone every year if you don't want to be broke. wait no, not like that.

pretty funny in retrospect that QAnon hinged on the idea that powerful elites at the highest levels of government were smart enough to talk in code when sending emails to each other about their despicable crimes

Imagine an EU-wide government shut down in its 6th week leading to serious disruption of air traffic. We would not hear the end of it in Anglophone media.
Look forward to more grand declations about how Europeans must emulate an America whose government is in the sixth week of shutdown and now can't provide safe air travel

BREAKING: OpenAI is requesting US government support to help guarantee financing for the massive investments in AI chips and data centers it needs for expansion, per Bloomberg.
