Almost three-quarters (74%) of people do not care who becomes the next Archbishop of Canterbury - even amongst Christians (62%).

While 17% think the next archbishop should speak out more, 28% want them to speak less on political issues.

Majority of Britons think Zelenskyy has done a good job handling the Russian invasion of Ukraine (60% good job, 13% bad job).

👥As Trump begins his state visit in the UK, there's a consensus that he has done a bad job (25% good job, 44% bad job).

36% of Britons agree there's a special relationship. 🤝 Whilst this is an improvement from the post-tariff low in April, levels are down from where they were in previous years.

👉43% of the public believe Trump’s actions harm British interests. This jumps to 55% amongst 55-75s but drops to 31% for 16–34-year-olds.

👉34% support protests against Trump's visit. Younger Britons (36%) are more in favour, while only 30% of older Britons back them.

The public view US influence as more negative than positive:

👎33% say it uses its influence mostly for bad (down 8ppts)

Britons are divided on Trump’s UK visit - 48% think it should go ahead, and 34% think it shouldn’t.

📢 But on one thing they agree: they’re not fans. 61% don’t like him, and 62% say Britain doesn’t need a leader like Trump.
