Then I realised it was in Airplane! mode.

This also only really works if people can get home from the pubs safely, ie they live within walking distance or public transport is available.

Neither of which is applicable in large areas of the country.

If i remember correctly, the amount of money poured into AI as an investment is roughly four times the amount involved in the subprime collapse of 2008.

In other words, Ai is being seen as "it has to succeed" because the alternative is a massive world-wide financial collapse that'd dwarf 2008.

A past version of myself would maybe find it quite exciting if I told him he would be involved in a worldwide battle against robots. But probably less so when he found out the robots are invisible, tedious twats.

I grew up in the UK in the early eighties. Every time I see this flag, I am reminded it was used by members of the NF shouting racist slogans and beating people up.

I too feel fear when i see this flag. Not because of the flag itself, but because of people who brandish it as an excuse for violence
