This is a surprisingly entertaining and even charming interview. The Journal guy keeps trying to get Sliwa to trash Mamdani and he just won’t.

TIL about pasture pigs.

I've known for some time that sheep and solar panels are a great pairing, but America doesn't love wool, mutton, or lamb. America loves pigs.

I've always associated pigs with mud and North Carolina sewage ponds.

There are so many videos. #pasturepigs […]

@Lyle very powerful thread. I remember reading about this in high school.

No question about it there are zero spots you should be able to accelerate this quick in NYC cc @agounardes.bsky.social
China is bringing the hammer down on hyper-fast EVs, setting a minimum 5 seconds for accelerating from 0 to 100 KMH (62 MPH).

For context, the Rivian R1S hits 60 MPH in 2.6 seconds, as does the Tesla Cybertruck in "Beast Mode." (H/t @reillybrennan.com)
China mulls limiting cars' default performance as EV crashes frequently occur
China plans to require passenger vehicles to default to a state where acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes less than five seconds upon each startup.

An easy start for Zohran in NYC would be to make the SBS Bx12 free because few pay as it is. Its de facto free but carries the expence of enforcement.

Convert other bus lines in the city from de facto free to officially free as the loss of income will be negligible if not nil due to no need of […]

Just listened to @TheWarOnCars Sarah's interview with Tim Gill. His descriptions of Rotterdam and Vienna point Zohran to the future for NYC. Same issue in Rotterdam of loss of child-bearing parents, and how Vienna solved gentrification. Zohran must rebuild NYCHA and target neighborhoods.
