Yes - recommendations for new authors — even vetted lists of authors — would be great.
But I know from experience (on academic stuff) - newcomers often don’t have much of a digital footprint.

Our office has clients whose injuries were so severe that their treatment dramatically exceeded the $50k no fault limit, and were forced to go into medical debt to treat themselves.
