An atmospheric river will bring heavy rainfall, likely with dangerous flooding and debris flows, to parts of Southern California today into the weekend.

A debris flow happens when normally dry soil becomes overly saturated, reaching a point where it turns to a liquid state and flows downhill.

NatGas will save us from coal seemed like a panacea in the 200Xs. Methane concentrations year2yr stabilized. Simple

Right?

No, turns out over the lifetime, LNG, liquid ‘natural’ (CH4) gas, is coal like in its Carbon footprint

🙏 for science🧠 that sorted it out over the last 20 yrs

For Democrats willing to promote fossil fuels as clean energy, the payoff is pretty nice

Other Dems who've joined Natural Allies receive anywhere from $180K - $250K per year. It doesn't appear to be a full-time job either.
Here’s how much Democrats get paid to shill for fossil fuels
Two former Democratic lawmakers made six-figure salaries for falsely promoting methane gas as a climate solution, tax documents seen by HEATED show.

A new record of Arctic sea-ice coverage—informed by the slow and steady sedimentation of cosmic dust on the sea floor—reveals that ancient ice waxed and waned with atmospheric warming, not ocean heat, over the last 300,000 years.
