I'll go a step further. 2025 has been far worse than even the years during the height of the pandemic at the start of this decade. Fascists and billionaires are actively working to dismantle every safety net that was invaluable to all of us surviving during that time, all for profits and cruelty.

At work, I was just thinking that the big reason there's a "male loneliness epidemic" is the number of men who scoff at the idea of forming an actual emotional connection with a romantic partner or seeing them as an equal, and instead are just alpha male douchbags.
