This is murder. Anything that hampers our transition away from fossil fuels, or forces us to do more drilling, fracking, coal mining and burning of fossil fuels, results in thousands more murdered innocent people each year. Wind farms are not a threat to national security, our traitorous "POTUS" is!
December 22, 2025 at 5:44 PM
Our pathological-lying, traitorous "POTUS" is a mob boss, engaging in unbridled, unchallenged, rampant criminality of just about every sort. But it is important to remember that it's also the 6 regressive SCOTUS criminals who broke the law and violated the Constitution to cheat him back into power.
This @peterbakernyt.bsky.social paragraph is a perfect summary of our descent into authoritarianism.

Exactly. Fair journalism requires all parties be given the opportunity to comment. It is journalistic malpractice to kill a story if they refuse to.

The physicist who was gunned down at MIT last week was on the verge of a breakthrough in fusion energy, which would go a long way to helping us dump murderous fossil fuels for good. For those who refuse to believe the fossil fuel industry would have killed him, I found this response online...

Climate Change is a threat to national security, and burning fossil fuels is the biggest cause of climate change today. The fossil fuel industry is a national security threat. Their assets should be seized and they should be shut down and replaced by renewables.

Traitor Trump is a threat to national security. And the SCOTUS criminals broke the law when they presumed to make their illegal "ruling" that he's above the law - rubbish!

The SCOTUS criminals and the POTUS criminal:

IMPEACH, REMOVE, TRY, CONVICT & SENTENCE!!!!!
The criminal Traitor Trump administration just robbed Revolution Wind, because he stupidly doesn't like clean energy. We know from the experts that Climate Change is the real threat to national security...

Imagine being a journalist and thinking that withholding evidence is "complying with the spirit if not the intent" of a law and not, say, a sign that criminals might be meddling with or destroying the evidence they're withholding.
BRENNAN: This isn't everything you asked for just yet, but would you acknowledge that they are complying with the spirit if not the intent of your law?

MASSIE: No. They're flouting the spirit and the letter of the law. It's very troubling the posture that they've taken.

This is why "all-of-the-above" is the strategy of A FOOL!!! The murderous fossil fuel industry kingpins must be made to heel! It's the most important job of every politician in office now. Burning fossil fuels kills millions of people worldwide each year, and that number continues to skyrocket...
Sadly, Joe Biden promised "No new drilling" on the campaign trail, AND THAT'S WHY I VOTED FOR HIM, and then he APPROVED MORE NEW DRILLING AND FRACKING THAN ANY OTHER PRESIDENT IN HISTORY. All the renewables in the world don't matter if we keep burning MORE AND MORE AND MORE FOSSIL FUELS ANYWAY!!!

4. Yglesias instead seems to implicitly argue that politicians should only do what wins elections, virtue be damned. One wonders what he thinks of those foolish 1850s abolitionists. As Condleeza Rice once said, politics is the art of making the impossible inevitable. That ain't this.

3. Leadership is about doing what is necessary, not just what is popular. Read literally anything our founders wrote about virtue, and the inherent risks to a society based on democratic processes to sustain the rule of law to the extent that unvirtuous people gain power.

22. Speaking of climate. Let's now pick apart this word salad of stupidity. Specifically the assertion that US oil is "cleaner" than other countries and therefore it is environmentally virtuous for us to drill baby drill.

21. And before team Yglesias responds by saying "yeah, but it's bad politics to run on climate and energy"... I'd point out that I've won 4 elections in a very purple district running on climate and energy. Pro-tip: leadership is possible! You don't have to be stupid to win!

This Yglesias piece in the NYT is horrifically bad. Almost every "fact" it cites is provably false. At best it is cocktail party banter from a pundit who knows nothing of energy. At worst, it was cut/paste from oil industry talking points. So, a rebuttal: www.nytimes.com/2025/12/18/o...

2. What he says about climate is patently false (more on that later) but to the extent he's saying "politicians shouldn't do the right thing unless it's popular", I'd note only that that is a toddlers view of leadership. If the popular kids are mean, should you be mean?

1. First, let's talk about the elephant in the room that he doesn't mention explicitly but haunts the whole piece: climate change is real, we've overshot the goal and the only way to turn the corner is to leave fossil fuel in the ground. To ignore that is to talk about rocketry and ignore gravity.

For clarity, killing/slaughter is ALWAYS the end result for every animal cursed w the #livestock label, some are just relentlessly exploited for their secretions 🥚🥛or wool/feathers etc beforehand
I suggest the word "killstock" instead of "livestock" where the intention is killing.
