Weather over the last 24 hrs has been deeply unpleasant and in the immortal words of Dave Niehaus, it just continues! Hoping my friends coming over the pass tomorrow for the Seahawks game this weekend don't have too rough a time.

I'm in a bar where a duo is playing music and the one dressed as a vampire nurse just did a very poignant 'Where Did You Sleep Last Night' right when that ball wedged into the padding. Felt like I was in a Fellini film.

Trying to decide which irks me more in sports these days, the in-game interview, hearing 7 Nation Army 5 times a game (a song I used to like), or endless gambling ads. Probably the gambling ads but that also may be recency bias.

UPDATE: I-90 remains closed WB at Exit 80 near Cle Elum after an oversized load struck the overpass. Travelers are being detoured at Exit 80 via the off- and on-ramp. Crews will be out today to assess the damage. The Washington State Patrol is investigating. No estimate for a reopening.
