Portland is ... right there. It's a real place. People live in it. People can go look at it. You could call someone there right now.

Wouldn't it be cool if someone adapted Frankenstein with an entire cast of trans actors?

Oh hey, we're doing that! But we need your help to fund it!

This summer on our Patreon, I did a series of lectures about everything I've learned in the past five years doing Midnight Burger. It was weird to do it, but it was nice to put it all together into one big piece. You can listen to the first episode of it for free on our public feed right now. 👇

Dreamt last night that they built a replica of Bergenfield, New Jersey in Glendale (called New Bergenfield) and when I went to see it, I ran into Kelsey Grammer. I asked him how the rest of the X-Men were doing and he said, “I have a lot of problems with those guys.”

There aren't a lot of horror characters that will straight-up ventilate you.

But then there's the Gremlins

started saying "hell world" in a way i just realized is essentially the same as saying "the bad timeline" in community. in this reality right now the only worse timeline i can imagine is hell world, the world where it's literally christian hell all the time

Most of the problems in re: this are issues of framing -- articles that have the proper information inside but are framed over-dramatically -- BUT I do not think it is good that I, _a trans person_, have started thinking, "Well, that's probably sensationalist!" about every piece of bad news.

I am quite frankly sick and tired of shoddy reporting that takes advantage of trans people’s hopes and fears to drive clicks and reposts of inaccurate stories

How could a straight-to-series greenlight go so wrong for the first TV series I ever created?! Today, the 5AM StoryTalk Podcast brings you Part 1 of a four-part Hollywood horror story I describe as a cautionary tale for screenwriters about what can happen when all your dreams come true.
