Let them cook, Capcom.
"Capcom owns a wealth of globally popular
brands, such as Mega Man, Devil May Cry, and Ace
Attorney. We aim to expand our user base and
improve our performance through new releases,
remakes, and ports of titles in these series to new
hardware."

On the one hand, I'm pretty sad cause he's one of the last of the old guard

On the other, holy shit dropping a 60 minute non-stop DJ mix on Soundcloud announcing your retirement might be the coolest and most FGC shit any dev has done.

"What's that dark part over there?"
"That is Euston, my son - you must never go there."
Euston’s great because over the tannoy they say running anywhere in the station is forbidden, and then release the platform number for your train 30 seconds before it’s due to depart.

Laser Dave will rise again!
Everyone is getting upset about the data centers. They pollute a lot and use a lot of energy and will eventually be very ugly/huge vacant buildings. And I understand being mad about that. Until you consider the state of the lazer tag industry at this moment, and how much help that sector needs.

Streamins service UI is increasingly bad deliberately. It's dark UX patterning as access to show catalogues narrows.

If you let the user search, they will look for shows you no longer have (or never had).

The goal is to hijack that journey and force a show they'll feel is 'okay' in front of them.
is there a reason why every single paid streaming service UI has only gotten incredibly worse and less usable over time

I do not know what editors are supposed to do about the flood of AI-generated pitches. I can't be the only editor who's been caught out once or twice over my career by a writer (or a source) who was making something up. Now you can make up a whole article in seconds.

Investigating a Possible Scammer in Journalism’s AI Era | The Local
A suspicious pitch from a freelancer led editor Nicholas Hune-Brown to dig into their past work. By the end, four publications, including The Guardian and Dwell, had removed articles from their sites.
