Um euch einen kleinen Eindruck von den Weihnachtsrealitäten hier in Kyjiw zu geben: Der Plan der Stromausfälle sieht bei mir heute Abschaltungen zwischen 5:30 und 12:30 sowie dann zwischen 16:00 und 23:00 vor. Wieder bis zu 17 Stunden ohne Strom in manchen Stadtteilen.

Es wurde nicht nur die "Strecke nach Moldawien" getroffen, sondern das ist auch die Strecke über die der Teil südlich Odessas versorgt wird und der nun von der Ukraine abgeschnitten ist.
In Odessa erlebte die Bevölkerung eine der schwersten Angriffswellen seit Kriegsbeginn. Russische Angriffe auf Hafen und Infrastruktur führten zu zahlreichen Todesopfern und massiven Strom- und Wasserausfällen, während die Menschen improvisierte Schutzräume nutzen.
Konstante Bedrohung aus der Luft
Russland hat seine Luftangriffe auf das ukrainische Hinterland heuer deutlich ausgeweitet. Im Visier des russischen Militärs stehen Energieanlagen und kritische Infrastruktur. ORF.at hat sich bei einer Reise in die Ukraine angesehen, wie die Menschen mit der konstanten Bedrohung umgehen und ihren Alltag zwischen Luftalarm und Stromausfall bestreiten.
