I think the point is that people were hanging around a guy long after his abuse of children and trafficking of victims was known. The wealthy and powerful operate under a different set of rules.

Taking the "inclusivity" line at face value, the right lost its mind and threw a big tantrum. But truly, it wasn't *really* about inclusivity.

It was about membership numbers and money. Scouts filed for bankruptcy in 2020 because of all the sexual abuse lawsuits they had to settle.

If the Supreme Court’s argument is that the president has total immunity in doing stuff like this, then the next president has total immunity in claiming it is their presidential prerogative to hold Donald Trump upside down by his ankles and shake him until $600 million falls out.
