Perhaps the biggest reason why dems are not respected/taken seriously/disliked...scared to do anything, even if its popular. If you won't stand up, defend, and support democracy and the country why would you expect people to stand up, defend, and support you?

Five years ago today, one of the worst incidents in American history occurred. At the time I thought this was surely the bottom but I was wrong.
