BART, though, has historically focused on suburban extensions because of its geographic district-based elections. Each districts needs a piece of the pie, even if they aren't equally transit-supportive. Of course an issue in appointed boards too.

This is a surprisingly poor showing, at least compared to the earlier outreach phases. Getty Center and monorail folks did some turnout.
