The author ends up writing a balanced piece once he tests his assumptions with his daughters. The comment desk decided to stick with the headline, standfirst that was not informed by that
This piece is billed as ‘father of girls thinks misogyny lessons are unnecessary’ but right at the end he actually asks the girls he is confidently speaking on behalf of and they…disagree. Amazing. www.thetimes.com/life-style/p...

The Violence Isn’t Imported. It’s Domestic.

KB, as ever, takes an issue that's 'structurally complex, emotionally charged & uncomfortable, strip it of its timelines, causality & evidence & then relocates all responsibility elsewhere ... somewhere ... "foreign”'
The Violence Isn’t Imported. It’s Domestic.
Kemi Badenoch’s attempt to blame violence against women on migrants doesn’t just collapse under scrutiny - it actively distracts us from where the harm really happens, and who is actually responsible.

It’s exactly this kind of dismal, prejudiced bollox from the Daily Mail that’s got us into the ruinous Brexit mess we’re in. What a moronic response to us rejoining Erasmus and all the benefits that brings. If they’re really worried about cost, they should push to cancel Brexit altogether.

If the rumours turn out to be true, Trump will declare war on Venezuela in a little under 3 hours time.

That will tip the USA into a whole new level of Trump Derangement Syndrome because a nation at war, and led by a fanatic, can do away with many if not all the normal niceties of democracy.

ICE is going after people who commit fewer crimes than U.S. born citizens. They're robbing people, hurting people, using racial profiling, violating due process, hurting children, and going after American citizens while they do. This is an illegal criminal enterprise from head to toe.

For 5 years Britain has tiptoed around Europe, afraid to admit what was lost.

Erasmus+ is the first honest step towards rebuilding trust – through people, not tariffs.

Six years after it was scrapped, Erasmus+ is coming back. As our Campaigns Manager, Richard Kilpatrick, explains, this goes far beyond university exchanges, supporting schools, youth programmes, vocational training and deprived communities across the UK.

I love that American nationalists think other countries should give America their oil.
Trump on Venezuela: "Getting land, oil rights, whatever we had -- they took it away because we had a president that maybe wasn't watching. But they're not gonna do that. We want it back. They took our oil rights. We had a lot of oil there. They threw our companies out. And we want it back."
