My teenage son had four wisdom teeth removed and was sent home with a bottle of morphine and other painkillers. I did wonder whether he might subsidise his student loan with the proceeds.

If Trump gets his way you'd have substandard chicken in the UK food chain but it would also be much cheaper so UK poultry farms - which are built and regulated to those much higher standards - would be royally screwed.

It would benefit nobody apart from US farmers.

Seriously is!

I offered my kids bread and butter - only - if they couldn’t handle what I had cooked. It was disappointing at the time but disgust gets triggered so easily and I could never forget the semolina experience! They’re both adventurous now.

I vividly remember the headmaster and head cook keeping me back at lunch and forcing me to eat my chocolate semolina pudding at primary school. I was terrified. And then I was sick. I just stopped eating anything at school after that, by always sitting next to a girl who’d eat all mine.
