The ground is covered with a layer of snow. Three large trees are in the centre of the photo and several smaller trees are behind them. On the horizon the sun has turned the sky yellow and gold. Above that the sky is pale blue and grey. There are a few branches of a closer tree on the right side which stretch across the blue sky.

Late June, hot humid summer evening. Location, nothing special, a rest stop along Route 30 after work, grabbing a coffee.

I came outside and looked up, to where the sky gods had apparently dropped their palette.
