We are supposed to be in some sort of a union of nations, but if you are Scots, Welsh or from Northern Ireland there is little point turning on pan UK TV news. Our experience is rarely reported. It is as if we don’t exist.

Homelessness deaths in Scotland are down 18%. Thery're up in England. Guess how the BBC national news covered this.

Clegg is a paid shill for Meta and it’s contemporaries.

The billionaires behind AI are like a gang who rob shops until they go out of business, and then move on to their next get rich quick scheme.

AI is supposed to embrace the drudgery so we can be creative, not the other way around.

Today is a day when arts degrees are worthless, but the product of those degrees is so valuable it would kill an entire industry if they were made to pay for it.

Universal Basic Income has to start somewhere. So why not with that most economically precarious of sectors, the arts.

It has been shown time, and time again, that when you are able to provide basic support for folks, such as UBI, not only are they able to thrive, but there are significant increases in measurable indicators of economic health, such as purchasing power.

Damn. This is amazing. £325 per week, paid monthly, for 3 years - and the result was a profit for the Irish economy:

Northeast Atlantic mackerel is on the brink & experts have warned catch limits must be slashed by 70% to save them

“They” is not a “made-up pronoun.” It has been in use since the 13th century. And has been used by the likes of William Shakespeare and Jane Austen.

“Them" is also not a “made-up pronoun.” It has been in constant usage since before the 12th century.

Tell me the system isn't rigged against consumers! Scotland has the highest electricity bills in the UK. We're also the coldest country in the UK.

Imagine being so out of touch you don't even know folks energy bills have shot up again.
Tweet from Keir Starmer promising Great British Energy will cut bills for schools and hospitals and create clean energy jobs, followed by STV News reporting a 2% rise in energy price cap minutes later.

Everybody has now seen who Starmer is. Nobody likes what they see but it took him winning a General election to get there.

Must we really make the same mistake with Farage?

Delighted that our Housing Bill was just passed by the Scottish Parliament.

It will deliver a fairer deal for tenants - more affordable rents, safer homes, stronger protections.

It will help prevent homelessness, and ultimately, change lives.

And it will bring new investment in housing.
