Trying to be a serious person, but probably thinking about X-Men and Star Trek.
Took my kid to a show there recently and was really impressed, will definitely go back soon.

This does mean your 20th anniversary box sets are now technically incomplete so I’m sure they’ll be rereleasing them any day now.

That’s from the red dwarf novels I think - they had someone rearranging stars to spell “Coke Adds Life” in supernovas.

Oh and just while I'm whining: this show is set a thousand years in the future but three characters now are hundreds of years old and one time-travelled there from a thousand years ago. I feel like there's maybe too much overlap.

I also think, like, when I look at why I related to Star Trek as a kid, it's because it was a show for people who were thoughtful and introverted. The students of Starfleet Academy feel like the students in typical teen dramas, but the people who want/need those shows already have them.

There is an even sadder six-word story.

You just reminded me of this:
Had the mortifying experience of trying to explain to my 70yo dad what a “dirty burger” was at a fairly normal restaurant the other week and I just know if we went to MEATliquor the menu would probably kill him.

I’ve been watching with the commentary and let me tell you, that’s about as well as the professionals are calling it. Audible confusion sometimes over how wrong they’re getting it.

I have! Very early to pick the most unhinged news story of the games but I’m sure it’s a contender.

I used to work there, so I *know* that they have in-house photographers who could have done this. I'm even IN the asset pack for the website because they used employees as models for the in-gallery photos (easier to get a waiver than using the public + we could access outside of opening hours).

Yeah! Roy Thomas hardly seemed to know what to do with the characters during his first run, then the second is wall-to-wall gold. Gotta assume Adams was a big part of that.

Just did a quick google, 92% RT audience score and someone complaining “woke agenda is pretty prevalent” so I think we can relax.
