My friend just called the UK-set Silent Hill Townfall “Silent Hull” and I think that’s its name now. #stateofplay

Legit this is the content I’m here for.
I've just reviewed my 51st Sticky Toffee Pudding. But what did it get out of 10?

Michael Fassbender's ex and her kids have a restraining order against him after horrific abuse.

Mark Wahlberg permanently blinded a man in a racist attack.

Chris Brown horrendously beat Rihanna to the point of hospitalisation.

That any of these men have careers and fans is baffling to me.
amazing that every time i bring this up people are unaware of it. he really got away with it
The Adventures of Cliff Booth looks great!

Just watching the Men’s Downhill Skiing and it’s nuts how fast they go. Tbh I think they should slow down and enjoy the view. Life is such a rush already.

Starfleet Academy has a lot about it that I like, but I'm finding myself put off by how much it's all modelled on US universities. The writers don't seem to realise how deeply fucked their education system is at that level and the idea the system would persist for 1000 years is sorta nuts.

Winter Olympics is back baby, time to get obsessed with snowboarding for three weeks then completely forget about it again for four years.

There's a surprising amount of Macaulay Culkin in the Fallout TV show. By which I mean, literally any amount of Macaulay Culkin.

Wonder Man is easily the best tv show marvel has ever done, and I say that despite loving Daredevil Reborn *a lot*. This finally made good on the promise of WandaVision.

I just had cause to look up why Americans call Canadians “hosers” and while I was expecting the reason to be dumb, it turns out it’s WAY dumber than I expected. The answer is: because of a Rick Moranis tv sketch from the 1980s.

Bought this at the London Comic Mart earlier. Beautiful Neal Adams issue from 1969. I’ve got 56 more issues of X-Men between me and a full run which might be a mad goal but eh, it gets me out of bed. #comics

Nothing tells me I’m reading a comic from the right era like opening it up and finding one of these bad boys

Just wondered when that new Spartacus spin-off was actually happening and it turns out 9 of 10 episodes have already aired. Guess there hasn’t been much talk about it.

The Epstein Files are basically the IRL version of that Maison Derrière exposé sequence in The Simpsons. Just imagining Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor looking at the BBC site like:

Legit surprised that your local #1 New York head (me) didn’t realise that Insomnia Cookies has started opening UK locations until this week. I must go to one.

The first episode of Wonder Man was really interesting and good. The shows often start out seeming good then go to shit but like, that actually had something to say.

Just arrived home to my copy of Spider-Man & Wolverine Vol. 1, which is emblazoned with the pull quote "It's a story fans of both characters will absolutely enjoy!" which you would think is the bare fucking minimum really.

I promised myself I'd make the next one of these something really accessible, so for the latest James Actually Reads His Comics I've hit up, er, two issues of Dazzler from 1980 which I bought approximately 30 years apart.

Spent the day at Megacon in London today which was about half the size of MCM and had about a third of the attendees. Shame it barely had any comics there, really. Felt a little bad for Iron Man artist Bob Layton as he sat there basically ignored by hundreds of Amazing Digital Circus cosplayers.
