CA is seeing the highest rates of Covid since last August. It's fucking everywhere, esp in SoCal. Seriously, wear an N95 at all times, indoors and out. The system may have failed us, but you still have individual choice.
Hard to ask this bc of hostility around precautions and I want to note upfront that I know when you’re working a con there’s a lot of work/social pressure—but if you’re attending SDCC please, please wear a mask as much as you can. COVID levels are high, we are fully in a surge right now

Not just "a comrade to disabled people," abled people would be protecting their own brains! Covid is a brain damage virus to EVERYONE!
just want to say that even if you stopped masking for whatever reason, you can start back up at any moment! and the moment you do, you are a true comrade to disabled people, elderly people, immunocompromised people, each other, everyone else. it’s really easy to be a real ally :)
