I just keep coming back to the current relevance of the Southern Strategy in all the things I’m seeing. Of course there’s more to it than that, but it’s another thing that we need to overcome. We need to the middles in support of change too.

I keep hoping that we all get collectively kicked in the face enough to want change. Sadly it’s alwasy the middle class holding up progress.

It’s a little easier to scream when you feel like there’s nothing left to lose. The folks who have a little and want more can’t imagine themselves in need.
