1. Systemic - eg, whitestream epistemology
2 Institutional - eg, lack of support, funding & diversity
3. Interpersonal - eg, unequal power dynamics
4. Individual - eg, lack of antiracist training, 'publish or perish' pressures

We examined body image researchers' perceived impact of white supremacy in appearance research and the barriers they face in resisting these influences.
