If NOTHING ELSE POSITIVE comes out of the trump debacle, at least people are finally understanding what civil servants in the government do. Their loss is deeply felt, and yet not ten years ago, the assumption was that there was a lot of "dead wood" that needed to be cleared. Repug Myth.

The thing that bugs me most about the whole "Jon Stewart vs Masking" thing that's going on is that the media keeps saying that "Progressives" are upset. News Flash: anyone who has had Long Covid, immune issues, etc is pissed off, and they know no political boundaries.

When are we going to see our elected representatives & real journalists:
1) Go to the countries our government is deporting people to and check on how they are?
2) Begin talking now about the probable consequences of this administration's actions, including their likely prison sentences?

The USPS posting a NINE BILLION DOLLAR LOSS!!! sounds terrible. Certainly worse than if you said "USPS costs thirty dollars per person per year" even though that means the same thing and more accurately describes a government service

I am just floored by the "Horrors of Socialism" resolution (#58) vote. The ignorance of history, political constructs and basic knowledge of society's expectation for its government exemplified in this bill is staggering. What the hell are they thinking? Time for Washington to go back to school.

One stupid man's hubris & ignorance is making hundreds of thousands, perhaps millions of people miserable. Hard to imagine how that could happen. Every day I come across something else hopeful & exciting that is being ruined by this idiot & his minions.
