Typically pointless interview with Angela Rayner, too. The deputy PM of the UK is not going to condemn the President of the United States on the airwaves, so there's really no point spending the whole interview trying to get a gotcha on this. Reporters like Jeremy Bowen & Lise Doucet deserve better.

Its amazing, all those who were saying Trump would be good for Ukraine, Trump would be tough on Putin, Trump is a brilliant negotiator. Where are they now?

Make no mistake. Every politician, pundit & online grifter amplifying Musk's dangerous lies will be aware of this intervention by now. Make no mistake, they are choosing to mislead the public & politicise the suffering of victims in the shameful pursuit of political advantage, attention & clicks.

It will be a relief if excitable journalists & commentators accept that the tumult of the last 8 years in the UK is ended.
They clamour for the fights & for something big & radical & scary to happen.
Hopefully it won’t.
I am considerably happier with the grinding plod of slow & steady improvement.

I doubt any Troll here who’s trying to smear ⁦Keir Starmer about decade-old events will be interested to read these pages from my book about his record prosecuting rape gangs. But he’s done more to bring them to justice than Farage, Yaxley-Lennon - or Musk -will ever do.
