Today is unfortunately a good reminder of just how depraved many Trump supporters are. It should be the easiest thing in the world to just wish someone well in light of a devastating health diagnosis. That they can't even meet that very low bar says a lot about their character.

If you’ve ever hired a contractor in USA what usual happens is a white guy shows up in fancy pickup truck with a beer gut and gives you an estimate and then the actual workers are skilled immigrants who do the job with precision and efficiency and receive a fraction of the money.

My very strong suspicion is that the left/right axis and the fight/don't-fight axis are in the process of unlinking, and that the fight/don't-fight split is emerging as the core struggle in the Democratic Party.
We seriously need to separate the left/right axis from the fight/don’t fight axis.

Egg prices are high right now because of the need to slaughter chickens due to avian flu. The price will drop over the next 18 months whether or not Trump does anything. Given that, I’d suggest the media find better metrics for grocery prices.
