Agreed. And "but they'll get back pay" doesn't cut it. Some of these folks work hard to live paycheck to paycheck, and this clown show can be what tips them from doing ok to being in a major financial hole.

In all the chaos, I would urge folks to remember that a lot of folks now don’t know when their next check will come.

The vast majority are good people who love this nation deeply, and many of them are still working despite not knowing when they’ll be paid
