If I ever get to write Harley Quinn, the first thing I'm doing, on the literal first page, she is throwing away that God damn beaver corpse because it is single-handedly the most annoying thing in all of her comics
Maybe I'm not being fair because I've already been used the show for so long before reading the comics, but Harley's supporting cast in the Palmiotti comics is so fucking lame compared to the show, and frankly I'm glad Sy was the only one of them who got used

An observation on this VERY ACCURATE analysis: Fans love to overlook this and even I skated over it in my analysis but regarding point 2, Harley is still a truly terrible person in every canon. She’s a violent murderer and thief. She just targets worse people. But she’s always been horrible and is.
