A constant narrative of the Trump campaign was that the US wouldn't be involved in future conflicts. Wonder how the fascists will spin this one. He "prevented" 7 wars so now he can start 7 to cancel them out?
Looks like we’re going to war.

I didn’t vote for this, did you?

Lovely. In Calgary, Alberta, the vaccination rate is only 68%! I received my measles booster a few months ago, and I'm glad I did. The risk is low for adults, I know, but if the option exists to avoid any risk and it's easy, why not? And it protects people who can't get vaccinated.
Canada loses measles elimination status, with US on track to follow
The country hasn't been able to curb an outbreak of more than 5,000 cases over the last year, while US cases are at a 33-year high.

In the Canadian system, a failed budget vote (or a late one) doesn't shut down any operations, but it forces an election, which I think is better than the American system. Those who hate elections might not think so. But it rarely happens unless the Government wants it to happen.

Healthcare is a human right. Every industrialized nation understands this, except one. Even $500/month is too much. I hope the MAGA supporters finally realize who they voted for. Is sticking it to the immigrants, DEI and Trans people worth your health?
Open enrollment for ACA healthcare plans has started, and enrollees are seeing what their premium costs will be next year.

Without subsidies, one couple will see their monthly costs increase from $495 to $2,168 — a 300% increase.

This is what Democrats are fighting to prevent.

Unfortunately, it does nothing other than embarrass the Republicans except Trump, who is incapable of being embarrassed. They tried this once already. The House can prevent it from even being voted on and Trump could veto anyway. Here we see the weakness in an executive form of government.

Fascinating. Perhaps someone smarter could skim the study and comment, but it looks like the correlation isn't solid since it uses observational data. Still more likely than aliens, though.
