The older I get, the more I come to think that "gaming nostalgia" -- i.e., that feeling you loved about playing a certain game long ago that you just can't find now -- is less about the game itself and more about who and where you were at that time. That's the part you can't get back, not the game.

Read through the Larian/genAI dust-up, and while it's not as bad as it could be, I can't believe the Very Smart People who run game companies haven't yet figured out that admitting to the use of AI, in any form, will cost you sales and goodwill. Is that worth the "savings" from using the tech?

Last Friday Leena, my cat, unfortunately passed away due to heart failure. It was very sudden as she was cuddling with me and seeming fine in the morning.

Role queue is coming, that's a guarantee. They can't have half the roster be DPS and see them hardly used.
