I'm very much enjoying this book I'm currently reading. It has a young boy with magical powers he knew nothing about, being taken away from his dull life in suburbia after accidentally creating mayhem by casting spells.

It's not even like the trial highlights other parts of a healer's kit (WHAT OTHER PARTS, YOSHI) or anything, like some way-old EQ fights did, it just says "nah, you're useless" and we're supposed to swallow that.

That the idea of "nonbinary woman" wasn't some kind of nonsensical contradiction but instead a celebration and description... I mean, I guess it's telling that this was one of my FIRST steps (and my journey started long before) but I honestly thought that everyone would see that easily.

One of the eye-openers for me before I even admitted/realized I was trans was the idea that "nonbinary" didn't have to mean its own binary "either a rejection of both genders or some weird 50/50 fusion of both at once" but was and could be a gender that expressed and overlapped and included instead.

If you wanna see indie creators succeed, remember you can always write reviews, talk about your play experience, do shoutouts, plenty of stuff that helps so much since there's only so many places that offer us outreach, especially if we are outside of the D&D/OSR space
