It's your contention that a website that MEETS BOTH CRITERIA of:
ALSO asking users to willingly give out their information even though they don't know what 3rd parties it will be shared with or the purpose it will be used, and

ALSO doesn't require people to give their info out

...isn't comparable?

Right? Kirk is noticeably not included in the sentence "we have to extend grace to people during their period of mourning and shock."
Obama's saying "Sure, extend grace to Kirk's friends and family, but don't feel pressured into extending any to Kirk himself. That guy fucking sucked, folks."

Your "rhetorical flourish" is pure tuchmah.

You managed to misinterpret "Absolutely go protest. Protest is good" into "You don’t want to lift a finger to do anything that might require you to take a risk or make a sacrifice. You want the goods without the effort."
That's a pretty big misreading for an alleged Ph.D.

200 Cigarettes is the spiritual sequel to Dazed and Confused that we all deserved, and these people are nuts.

My doctor made me do the Cologuard screening and the only thing I learned is that I can't even shit in a box properly

I'm at the age where my doctor said I should get screened for colon cancer, so I mailed my poop to Wisconsin and got a text message a day later that I gotta do it again because my morning dump was too big.
This is so fucking embarrassing.

You "don’t think that’s how NYT operates," but yet you said it's "hard to not see this as NYT trying to save face"?

What exactly do you think an Opinion column is?

All this talk about martial law is making me realize how much I could go for a weekly procedural drama series centered on one of the largest chains of off-price department stores and the loss prevention team that protects them.

The crack DOGE team disabled it to save bandwidth costs under the theory that tipping culture has gone too far, and if agents want more money, they should just ask their boss for a raise or get a second job

Based on this shirt and the theory that the shooter used a gun, this narrows it down to someone who had access to a gun store that sells the kind of shirts sold at gun stores.

Google Image search would suggest this was the shirt.

People might have a better chance at understanding the conversation if it made any sense.

The Board appointed an Executive Director who fired the entire staff, and you're claiming the fired staff asked said ED to fire a consultant "so they wouldn't have to"?

How does that make any sense?
September 10, 2025 at 3:51 PM
that's correct. you're aware it didn't get picked up for a second season (dec. 18), right?

Good point—if it weren't for the decline of media literacy in the 80s, 𝘔𝘶𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘵 𝘉𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘦𝘴 would've been canceled before the theme song of the pilot episode had finished, because high I.Q. toddlers wouldn't have tolerated such disrespect toward the canon of their favorite documentary, 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘔𝘶𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘵 𝘔𝘰𝘷𝘪𝘦

Maybe it'll help if you pretend Micah said the server has a 𝘱𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘢𝘭 vulnerability based on the version, and instead of the dev verifying whether it was a false positive or not, he went mute.
And then consider that since the dev ended up patching the server later, it's likely that it WAS vulnerable

didn't video games already do this WAY back in 2000 when John Romero released a game so good it made us gay for John Romero?
