The same people who deny that releasing 40+ billion tonnes of chemicals annually into the atmosphere changes our climate think that an airplane spraying a few tonnes of chemicals into the atmosphere definitely does. I want the world to be less stupid, as well as less evil.

This is just 0,21% of the solution!! Is it scalable? Should be scaled?

"All the carbon credits sold last year claimed to offset a combined 84mn tonnes of CO₂ emissions. Compare that with last year’s global CO₂ emissions of more than 40bn tonnes." www.ft.com/content/199d...

New research from MIT found that those who used ChatGPT can’t remember any of the content of their essays.

Key takeaway: the product doesn’t suffer, but the process does. And when it comes to essays, the process *is* how they learn.

(sigo...) www.larepublica.co/economia/hor...

Say it after me: Chat GPT is not a search engine. It does not scan the web for information, it just generates statistically likely sentences. You cannot use it a search engine, or as a substitute for searching.

Now. Please never use an LLM for information searches ever again.

That little black spec on the right hand side of this infographic is the total budget of the NWS. How is eliminating positions that exponentially increase economic dividends through enhancing commerce and mitigating/preventing disasters saving money or eliminating waste/fraud?
