All the talk of "balance" in journalism produced a culture where constant sane-washing of the right isn't just allowed, it's expected and required.
The news outlets that have so far covered this have omitted the description of the GoFundMe from the creator himself: "The stupid cunts wanna make a go fund me for the stupod bitch that got what she deserved i made one for the ice officer that did his job lets get this man some money." /

Remember this—and tell everyone you know—every single time some crackpot, be they in the White House, in Congress or at dinner, claims we need Greenland for national security reasons. We have all the rights we need to beef up forces or repel attacks if we ever have the need. Which is doubtful.
Lie after lie. There is zero Russian or Chinese threat to Greenland. If there was, the US, under existing agreements, could reopen the dozen or so military bases it closed there.
Trump: "We are going to do something on Greenland whether they like it or not because if we don't it, Russia or China will take over Greenland. If we don't do it the easy way we're gonna do it the hard way."

The man who literally wrote the book on the use of vehicles as ramming weapons says any claim Good used hers as such is false, and that her execution, followed by the false claim, is "death squad behavior."
🧵In my expert opinion as a researcher of vehicle ramming attacks, what has been publicly described in the video evidence does not support the claim that Renee Nicole Good was attempting a deliberate ramming attack when she was shot in Minneapolis on January 7, 2026. 1/7

The hypocrisy and constant situational thinking will eventually catch up with Trump. People are getting tired of all this self-serving nonsense. Gift article.

The same people who spent yesterday, and the past five years, insisting a Black police officer who shot an insurrectionist breaking into the Capitol should be prosecuted are today bending over backwards to defend an ICE agent who shot a woman in her car in cold blood.

Scum.

For the second year in a row, the wealth gains for the 100 richest Americans exceeded what ALL American households spent on groceries combined.

~$995B for billionaires vs ~$775B in total grocery spending.

We have an oligarchy and inequality problem masquerading as an affordability crisis.

What a way to treat some of the most dedicated and knowledgeable federal employees we have. They are among the most forward-facing employees in government and they love being stewards of public lands and sharing them with visitors.
A top National Park Service official has instructed park superintendents to limit the number of staff who get top marks in performance reviews, a move that experts say violates federal code and could make it easier to lay off staff.
Park Service orders changes to staff ratings, a move experts call illegal
Lower performance ratings could be used as a factor in layoff decisions and will demoralize staff, advocates say.
