I should write so I don't keep going viral with low effort posts at the other place where clearly there are a lot of people who either think I'm totally right or some brainless ish-lib who forgets about Vince Foster and Ben Ghazi.

Let's see: Anything political or politics-adjacent here gets next to no traction, but at the @ place people flock to it like moths on a flame.

Similarly, some mundane things that get nothing there get interactions here.

Zuck really wanted a LefTwitter, didn't he? #Threads

"After 20/40" on Canes games doesn't hit the same now that it moved from the lower bowl concourse to the tunnel. Am I right? #CanesBluesky #CarolinaCulture #LGC

The following people would still be alive if Hillary Clinton won:

Sarah Beckstrom
Corey Comperatore
Heather Heyer
Jamal Khashoggi
Thomas Crooks
Charlie Kirk
Ashli Babbitt
At least 81 Venezuelans
Millions USAID helped.

Who am I missing?

Wawa Gobbler season is supposed to last until a little past New Year's, but at least in North Carolina and Virginia it's already over.

Holy Overexpansion, Batman!

While getting a hotel breakfast, caught a glimpse of Fox News calling the false flag death of Sarah Beckstrom "tragic." I think she got off good here as she doesn't have to deal with the aftermath.

No politics, no racism, no hate, no greed, no money or work, death sounds pretty good about now.

Today is no better day than any to watch the premiere of CBS's "The Morning Program" from 1987 in which Mariette Hartley gets Pat Summerall to admit that Susie Wiles can run, 39 years early.

Relevant segment starts at 34:35.

My childhood P.O. Box was 579, as are my choices here.

I still can do Pecan or Chocolate Chess for pie, right?

Why is it that social media feeds me a constant feed triggering Republican Hate and Neoliberal simping, but the 961532210th posting of "Republicans are the cause of all of [Place]'s problems" gets little input. Was Orwell right with "Two Minutes of Hate"?

Am I the problem? Or is it Meta. #NcPol

You don't show up for Myrtle, but when I crashed out over Gaza and tariffs and Kamala choking you tried to do me. What gives?

When did Nick Offerman start looking like the Dollar Tree version of Keith Hernandez?

This post here: *crickets*

This post on Threads: 800 likes, 85 comments, and one realization that Dirty Myrtle is a Russian mob joint.

Certain posts hit different elsewhere and I still think that Bluesky works better even if things fall flat.
My new nickname for Myrtle Beach is "Pigeon Forge-by-the-Sea" and I challenge y'all to prove me otherwise.

It's time for the Macy's parade, so it's time to share Macy's demands to affiliates regarding what can't air in local ad spots, h/t @rustymuck.bsky.social.

It's like Macy's knew NBC daytime in the day had a laxitive/feminine product ad airing problem, IYKYK.

Who was the most Met player who never was a Met?
Other guys can play for the Mets, and are never actually Mets. Like Glavine. Tom Glavine was on the Mets for 4 years, but at no point was he a Met.

I know can sometimes be a Kamala simp when things feel low, but this is a bit much. Threads being Threads as usual.

When the US collapses, do we get to hang a banner about Hillary/Kamala being the true 45/47th Presidents a la the Expos and the "Best Record in Baseball" banner at their last game?

I have seen hell. It's name is Summerville, South Carolina.

What if we made a hybrid of Florida and Northern Virginia and nobody can drive and the planning was done by middle schoolers.

Why is Bluesky ahead of Threads?

Threads adds nothing.
Pew has a new poll out about social media use in 2025.

Young people use Instagram, TikTok, and Reddit a lot. Facebook has peaked.

Bluesky’s user base is tiny (though slightly larger than that of "TruthSocial").
Americans’ Social Media Use 2025
YouTube remains the most popular, but adults are increasingly using Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp and Reddit. Use of some platforms varies by age, gender, and race and ethnicity.

The "Who Knew?" Walmart commercials always remind me of WhoNu (later WhoKnew) Cookies from the early 2010s and sometimes I think I might be one of the few people who remembers and liked them.

Now nutritious is delicious too!

Earth was a better place with George Thomas Seaver in it.

I'm sorry you had to endure Lewy Body Dementia, COVID, and two tape dates of To Tell The Truth 1980 with Robin Ward being a creep.

This summer, a now-former friend (mid 60s/M/LA, retired TV C-suiter) and I went to task multiple times as he had personal issues with Kamala Harris even though he grew up in NYC and knew "Captain Von Shitz a Lot" was worse.

This is gaslight, right? Or will the real Kamala Harris please stand up?
