Additionally I know this isn’t a new take but it really sucks how often parents stay together “for the kids” when the best thing for everyone can often be to divorce.
Speaking from experience but I think kids are rarely traumatized by the act of divorce and more by the legal system around it and the circumstances. Like it’s more likely you’ve been psychologically fucked up by a parent cheating or whatever

Btw I do have a general rule that I’m not including ai generated films in any of my Letterboxd lists. I use those lists to uplift peoples work and how they contribute to a genre. Ai is the antithesis of that.

Something I hear ppl say about hesitancy with using library services is they are worried they won’t carry queer indie books. A lot of librarians will order something if you request but even if they can’t most libraries have inter library loan request options and you can get them through that.
