I think BC should seriously consider separation as an option considering the utter disrespect we are getting from Alberta and Ottawa.

Canada is apparently just a bunch of resource extraction projects in a trenchcoat, there is no greater vision or culture

What we've learned from this pipeline agreement between Alberta and the feds is that the squeaky wheel gets the grease.

If you want anything from the federal government then your province needs to pitch a fit and threaten separation.

Just start shrieking and pissing yourselves like children

A lot of people who just want to passively recieve content have convinced themselves that they are actually content creators

One of my favorite cartoonists.
Hi! I’m Kathleen, a designer and cartoonist from Vancouver. I haven’t been actively making comics the past few years due to some ongoing health problems, but you can read almost 300 pages of my goofy, gay, silently musical comic series Band Vs Band at bvbcomix.com

I'm really starting to wonder if we are going to speciate in the next millenia, where there will be humans thinking and feeling, living in community who are running in opposition to the meat sacks that are in love with themselves and their phones and have completely surrendered their minds to AI

Sad to see. The Holy See’s virulent anti-AI stance will hold the Church back as other religions continue to innovate. Praying the Pope adopts a grindset more compatible with the speed of the modern world
Pope Leo XIV told students not to use artificial intelligence for homework, saying that AI ‘won’t stand in authentic wonder before the beauty of God’s creation.’

I project that I will have 300 million readers by 2030, and that's why I think I should get a billion dollar valuation.
Now I don't personally have the start up capital, which is why the government should invest 500 million dollars in me now...

Thinking a lot about how people want simple black and white answers to complex and morally gray problems.

We could all benefit from sitting with the inherent contradictions we are often forced to exist in

"We are throwing half of our money in a well that legend has it will reward our tributes by making our wishes come true. We simply do not have any choice but to now throw the other half of our money in there too."
One explanation for economic populism in the US is the recurring cycle of bubbles and bailouts that happens without any democratic input

We are going to complete this pipeline just in time for the value of oil to drop like a stone.

I hope we keep the pipeline intact though. It can be a monument to the short term thinking and lack of imagination that got us here
