UPDATE—Mahmoud's attorney says they do NOT know where he is.
They were first told he was sent to an ICE facility in Elizabeth, NJ. But when his 8-month-pregnant wife tried to visit him, she was told he's not there.
They've received reports he may be sent as far away as Louisiana.

This week I finished a program with the Citizen Potawatomi Nation - of which I am an enrolled member - called Mdamen (literally “that miraculous seed”)
It was one of the most meaningful experiences of my life. It helped me put words to a part of my identity I’ve never known how to talk about before.

This morning I was talking with a group of senior scientists about this. It makes us feel like raving conspiracists just by explaining the bare facts. The most sober read out sounds like hyperbole and catastrophizing. It’s not.
I truly think people don’t realize how many universities and colleges — especially public ones — may shut down if restrictions on and withholding of federal funding persists for even one presidency
