I'm going to try my hand at a sports metaphor. I'm a fan of the Ravens. If the Ravens made it to the Superbowl, 4th quarter, challenge and timeout still available. Opposing team makes a possibly game winning but controversial play. Ravens coach says "welp, better luck next time."

What if Republican governors decide not to cooperate? Will they be arrested?
Whatever a border czar is, they don't have arrest authority. Federal law enforcement officers do, pending judicial enforcement. Consultation with prosecutors is the norm for pre-planned arrests & here's the kicker: people being arrested must have actually committed a crime.

All this tells me is not to ask questions of people who ask me for help. That way I can't knowingly do anything.
Homan: Don’t knowingly harbor and conceal an illegal alien from ice. Because that is a felony. We have one hell of an Attorney General coming in… we're going to have consequences of people who violate the law and try to prevent us from doing our job.

This is an excellent point. How do you define working class? It can't even be in terms of income, because $50k annually would be more than adequate for my two person household in North Carolina, but move to Manhattan or the West Coast, and that $50k goes real quick.
really is worth getting some clarity on this question: both in terms of what people are describing sociologically and also what people are using the term for rhetorically
What is the working class? Many invoke it in this election, but no one defines it. How much is it economic, when a plumber can make 10x as much as adjunct professor? How much is it cultural/an identity, or the kind of labor? Why so many 1930s white-guy versions when so many are women and BIPOC?
