Opening day of Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2, during the “battle” scene. From wails of terror to screams of relief. I am… not proud of my own reaction, upon reflection, but at least I was in good company!
Got me thinking.. What's the strongest reaction you've seen an audience member have to a scene in a cinema?
During the birthday party scene in SIGNS I saw a whole row of young women literally throw their popcorn in the air like a cartoon.

Someone in my audience had a very audible negative reaction to the dog scene in TOGETHER. So that was fun!

My toddler fussed this morning about eating oatmeal (that he asked for). These 14,000 mothers would probably give anything for their babies to fuss about oatmeal.
If we can’t agree that on a *very* basic level, babies shouldn’t suffer because adults can’t get along, we’ve lost our way.
