we're in legit first they came for territory and a lot of people have been failing at this test they cite all the time
if you find yourself reluctant to support the guy at Columbia because you find some of the politics he espoused distasteful or even abhorrent, you should know that this is exactly the reaction that they hoped for in choosing him as a target for unlawful detention based on political speech.

Was discussing this with a smart politics person today. I think we need to fundamentally reimagine the country, from military to housing to resource extraction to infrastructure to alliances, and more. We need to hold onto our values, but to forge a different Canada. bsky.app/profile/jbro...

I wish more people knew about the 1920s Klan because they—perhaps more than European fascists—are the model for Trumpism.

This is a good summary and a nice reminder that they do a lot of damage, but in the end, fascists always lose.
